After reading and cooking several cornbread recipes, Renee and I tinkered with the most common ingredients and came up with our own Sweet Buttermilk Cornbread recipe. It really is delicious and a great base for many other variations of cornbread. This recipe made a muffin that was a perfect yellow. The texture was nice and moist and it was sweet but with a good hearty corn flavor too. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
